121 Faith began as a vision and a calling for Pastors John and Sonya, who relocated to the Bloomington area in the fall of 2018 to pursue this mission. The journey started in early spring of 2019 with a Bible study group that gathered at The Pointe, just outside of Bloomington. By May of that year, the congregation had signed a lease for a storefront building on South Walnut Street, marking an important step forward. The first service was held on July 21, 2019, celebrating the growing community. In February 2021, the church was blessed with the opportunity to acquire a permanent building located at 5925 N. Maple Grove Rd. Today, 121 Faith continues to thrive, offering weekly services on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM, fostering spiritual growth and connection within the community.
The 121 faith family is a vibrant and growing community united by a shared love for God and one another. Our belief is that every individual holds a significant role in the body of Christ, contributing to the richness of our collective faith. We are dedicated to nurturing and strengthening each person's spiritual journey, helping them to be born of the Spirit, filled with the Spirit, and ultimately led by the Spirit. Through this process, we encourage each member to embrace their unique calling and purpose in life, fostering a sense of belonging and support as we walk together in faith. Together, we celebrate our diverse gifts and strive to uplift one another, embodying the love of Christ in all that we do.
